BMA Online Pageant Terms and Conditions

The Broadwalk Modeling Academy (“BMA” or “Academy”) Online Pageant (“Pageant”) is open to all females aged between 18 – 28.

This Pageant is not open to employees and their immediate family members of BMA.

Model Registration is open from 1st – 31st August 2009 (one month). All participants are required to register through the BMA website (www.broadwalkmodeling.com), and will henceforth be known as Models.

All Models are required to upload a recent Face Portrait with minimum resolution 600x800 pixels to the BMA website.

The Pageant will be divided into 3 Stages where Voters will have one chance per stage to vote for their favourite Model. All voting at any given stage will commence and end at 12.00am Malaysian time of the stated date.

A maximum of 100 Models will be selected by BMA at our discretion. Models’ pictures will be displayed on the website for the public to vote on.

Stage 1 voting will commence from 1st – 14th September 2009 (two weeks). All Voters are required to register through the BMA website with a valid email address.

Each Voter will be given a BMA Forum Account where they can communicate with Participants or fellow Voters on various issues both related and unrelated to the BMA Pageant.

The top 30 voted Models from Stage 1 will proceed to Stage 2.

Models who have qualified into Stage2 will be required to answer a set of questions. Answers will be posted online for all Voters to evaluate. Models will be given 3 days to complete the questionnaire.

Stage 2 voting will commence from 18th – 28th September 2009 (ten days).

The top 10 voted Models from Stage 2 will proceed to the Stage 3 Finals.

Models who have qualified into Stage 3 will be given a catwalking tutorial at the Academy which is situated in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. Models are not required to attend this tutorial due to distance problems; however this tutorial is a privilege and should be treated as such.

All Stage 3 Models are required to do a 60-second video infomercial about themselves. There is no format restriction on infomercials, however Models are reminded that no nudity is allowed and discretion is advised as your reputation and integrity will be judged based on your infomercial. Models will be given 3 days to complete the infomercial and upload the video to the BMA website.

Finalist’s Videos will be available for viewing from Voters from 2nd October 2009 onwards.

Final Stage 3 voting will commence from 2nd – 6th October 2009 (five days).

The winners of the BMA Online Pageant 2009 will be announced on the 8th October 2009 on the BMA website. All winners will be notified by e-mail, together with details of how to collect their prizes.

All prizes are to be collected at the Academy before 31st October 2009. Uncollected prizes after that shall be deemed null and void, and will be the property of Broadwalk Modeling Academy.

All prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

BMA reserves the right to use any uploaded images or videos for promotional activities as seen fit by the Academy.

BMA reserves the right to amend or remove these rules at any time. By registering at the BMA website, all Models and Voters will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and regulations stated here and in any other part of the BMA website.
